Triangle came home to Iowa State University in 1964 and has since forged meaningful connections with the campus community, including the Colleges of Engineering and Design, the Office of Sorority and Fraternity Engagement, and Iowa State Alumni Association.

Currently, our Chapter is made up of 40 plus men pursuing a variety of STEM degrees; from Computer Science, to Aerospace Engineering or Physics, our Chapter has a robust background in diverse fields and programs.

On campus, you can find Triangles serving on the Interfraternity Council (IFC) Executive Team, Engineering Leaders of Tomorrow, Fraternal Values Society, Clean Snow Club, and professional Engineering Honors Societies, just to name a few.

It was in the fall of 1906 that sixteen civil engineering juniors at the University of Illinois began the association that became Triangle Fraternity. These Founders based their organization on the principles of honor, friendship, character, brotherhood, and courage.

Over the course of more than a century, Triangle Fraternity has evolved from an idea devised by sixteen men, to a brotherhood of 30,000 members. Though different from campus to campus, one element remains the same. All members are committed to building a better world.

Here at Iowa State, Triangle calls 2136 Lincoln Way our home. If you're searching for academic excellence, lifelong friendships, professional development, and leadership opportunities, Triangle is the place for you!
